General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is keeping her guard up when it comes to Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), which is definitely a good thing. Esme secretly has her memories back, so we’re dealing with an incredibly volatile version of her again.
However, Trina knows how to get fierce when she needs to. In fact, GH fans will soon see another side of Trina that’s wild and perhaps willing to fight back even harder than before.
In a recent interview with TVMusic Network, Tabyana Ali was asked to tease a little bit about what’s coming up for Trina. Ali certainly had an intriguing response, so let’s look at the hints she offered.
“I’ll say that a new layer of Trina is about to come,” Ali insisted. “It’s crazy. It’s insane. I cannot wait for people to see what’s about to happen next with her.
Ali offered a few more clues as the interview went on. Since this new side of Trina is clearly going to get pretty intense, she suggested that she doesn’t think anybody is going to be expecting this.
Ali is looking forward to showing off this other layer of Trina, so let’s mull over everything she’s teased for a moment and try to figure out where her storyline is headed next.
Esme seems like the one person who could provoke a reaction this wild in Trina. Will Trina find out Esme’s memories have returned and end up having a dangerous showdown with her?
It’s easy to imagine a faceoff like that turning very physical, especially if Esme does something that harms Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) or puts Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) in jeopardy.
Trina may show Esme who’s boss in an epic confrontation, so that’s certainly an option to keep in mind.
Of course, there are other wild possibilities – like if Trina goes against the declaration she made to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) about never needing the help he offered.
Maybe Trina will accept Cyrus’ help after all if she figures out some way that he could be useful in the fight against Esme.
Cyrus made it clear that all Trina had to do was ask and he would come through for her. If Trina seeks a favor that involves helping Spencer and Ace, then Cyrus will be even more eager to pitch in.
