Charlotte Cassadine is currently the golden girl of hate and crime on General Hospital. Aaah That’s just so Cassadine like! Grandpa Victor would be so proud of her. Especially, since she seems to be functioning under his misguided influence. Currently, she is recouping from the bullet Anna accidentally put in her, when she saw a shadowy figure lurking in her house. As it turns out, Charlotte’s portrayer Scarlett Fernandez too is currently recouping in the hospital!
Albeit thankfully, not from a bullet wound. The young but supremely talented General Hospital actress took to her Instagram to share a health update with her fans and followers. “Tyler the tumor has been evicted,” she announced in the caption. Alongside a picture of her cozied up in a hospital bed. Apart from sharing the update, she also thanked her “amazing” surgeon Dr. Bell and the nurses at St. Luke’s Health. Cheekily, she took a dig at her on-screen persona’s hospital visit by adding “fake hospitals >real hospitals” in her caption.
Scarlett also posted a close-up snapshot of her bandaged up foot. It seems like the tumor was removed from there. As soon as she sent the post live, General Hospital fans and her followers flocked to the comments section to send her love, prayers and good vibes. The young star seems to be in good shape after the surgery, and her spirits appear to be high, thankfully.
We hope Scarlett makes a full and speedy recovery soon and get back to normal life! Which of course also includes filming for General Hospital. We honestly love her on the screen. She has proved to be more Cassadine in a month than Valentin, Nik and Spencer have in a decade! Victor’s true successor, we would say! However, for the sake of the child, we sure do hope that Valentin, Anna, Nina and Laura manage to show her the truth.
Because only and only if Charlotte sees her wrong in attacking Anna, can Valentin and Anna go back to being a couple. So we hope there is a redemption track for her down the line. What do you think? Tell us in the comments.
