General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) NYC trip with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) could mark a major turning point. GH fans know Spencer and Trina previously struggled to get time alone due to Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) needing so much attention.
However, Spencer finally felt comfortable enough to leave for a weekend trip, so that’s a nice start.
We get that Spencer cares about his little brother, but he’s not Ace’s father and will probably get a big reminder of that down the road.
There’ll come a day when Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) will want to come home and claim his child – that is if Ace is even a true Cassadine at all.
Until a DNA test happens, no one can know for sure if Nikolas is Ace’s bio dad.
Regardless, Spencer just took a bold step forward in his relationship with Trina since they made love during their New York City getaway.
Trina is a responsible young woman, so we have no doubt that some form of birth control was used.
That said, birth control isn’t 100-percent effective – and that’s especially true on soaps!
It’s possible that Trina is already pregnant with Spencer’s baby, which could set the stage for him to build an actual family instead of just playing house with Esme.
Having Trina get pregnant right off the bat would complicate her college experience and throw off her career plans, but sometimes that’s just how life goes.
Trina would probably still move forward with the pregnancy – and Spencer would certainly step up to be a good father, particularly after having this practice run with Ace.
Of course, you can bet Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) would throw a fit since Trina would have a permanent link to Spencer and his dangerous family.
Portia already disapproves of Trina’s relationship, but she’ll disapprove even more if Trina ends up having a little Cassadine bun in the oven!
Trina’s pregnancy news would be a real game-changer for Spencer, so that could cause Esme and Ace to take a backseat.
