General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) definitely wasn’t happy about the visit Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) paid him at the Port Charles Grill. Sonny acted all smug as he put Cyrus on notice and made it clear that his rival needed to stay in line.
Of course, Cyrus didn’t score his freedom so he could spend all his time washing dishes and scrubbing floors!
Cyrus remains a menacing villain – and he’s certainly the kind of guy who’d retaliate after a display like the one Sonny made.
GH fans know Sonny gloated about Cyrus falling into his trap and failing to put him behind bars.
That undoubtedly riled Cyrus up even further since he’s not someone who likes to lose.
Despite Sonny’s warning, Cyrus must be plotting his revenge deep down.
It’s clear that Cyrus isn’t as reformed as he’d have everyone believe, so it’s just a matter of time until he fights back with another dirty move.
How will Cyrus show off his vengeful side this time around? There’ll have to be some way for Cyrus to hit Sonny where it hurts and make him suffer.
Cyrus might try another strategy to put Sonny in prison – or maybe he could try to wipe Sonny off the map entirely.
Sonny could land in danger again if Cyrus sends someone after him and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) fails to provide enough protection.
After all, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) recently voiced concerns about Sonny being at risk without Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) around to watch over him.
Although Sonny has Dex, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and other members of his team, no one could ever protect him quite like Jason could.
Sonny could be gearing up for a hospital crisis if his feud with Cyrus takes a scary turn.
It’s also possible one or more of Sonny’s family members could get caught in the crossfire and end up fighting for their lives.
No matter how the next phase of all this plays out, Sonny and Cyrus’ rivalry could soar to risky new levels!
