GH Spoilers: Maxie Grieves for Austin After Corpse Surfaces – Someone Finally Cares That Doc Is Gone

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) exit highlights a huge problem with the character. It’s clear that Austin never made enough real connections to feel like a cohesive part of the canvas.

Austin lifted right out of the show without anyone in Port Charles immediately missing him or even really noticing.

It’s no wonder they killed Austin off since the character never made much of an impact in life or through his demise.

It’s downright sad that so many people in PC are celebrating Thanksgiving and having parties with their loved ones while deceased Austin rots on the floor of his house.

No one has even noticed Austin’s disappearance yet, which says a lot about what a mishandled character he was.

Austin should’ve had more people he cared about and who cared about him in return.

Fortunately, it looks like someone will eventually grieve the loss of Austin.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) dated Austin and will forever be grateful to him for helping her bring Bailey Louise Jones (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) into the world, so she’ll be sorry to hear about his horrific fate.

Although Maxie and Austin’s romance didn’t work out, they parted ways on pretty amicable terms.

It’s not like it was some nasty breakup that’d sour Maxie toward Austin, so she’ll probably be reminded of the good times once she hears about his grim fate.

During the week of November 27-December 1, GH spoilers say Maxie will open up to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) about something that’s on her mind.

Since this will happen shortly after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) gets a shock and perhaps realizes what happened to Austin, Maxie may hear the news and begin the grieving process.

Maybe Maxie will open up to Felicia about previously dating Austin and her complicated feelings now that he’s gone for good.

Maxie may let herself consider what might’ve been and mourn Austin when nobody else will!

Of course, Ava Jerome (Maura West) came to care about Austin before she turned against him over his betrayal, so she’ll ultimately get updates and have a complex reaction of her own.
