General Hospital Spoilers: Michael’s Blackmail Scheme Backfires When Willow Leaves!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) believes he has Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) right where he wants her. Shortly after Nina married Michael’s father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). Michael discovered that Nina was the one who anonymously tipped off the SEC to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) crime of insider trading.
As viewers know, Carly invested heavily in Aurora Media after overhearing Michael and Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) discussing a planned merger between Aurora and ELQ.
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Was Given A Hefty Fine!
Carly’s Aurora stock quickly lost value once the merger was halted. Because of this Carly lost her half of the Metro Court. In addition, she was fined 5 million dollars.
Drew is actually serving time in prison for the crime in an effort to protect Carly. And while Sonny and Carly are no longer married, they remain close.
Michael planned to tell Sonny this new information but he backed out once he saw how happy Sonny was to be married to Nina. But Michael had another plan, and he confronted Nina directly.
GH Spoilers – Michael Corinthos Is Blackmailing Nina Reeves!
Michael is married to Nina’s daughter, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Willow only recently discovered their connection and due to their tumultuous past, was reluctant to let Nina into her life.
Although Michael wasn’t happy about it, Willow recently agreed to get to know Nina and form a relationship. But now that Michael has leverage over Nina, he decided that he would control Nina’s access to both Willow and their children.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Is Devastated By Michael Corinthos’ Demands!
Michael has put Nina in a terrible position. All she has ever wanted, besides Sonny, was to get to know her daughters. Willow’s twin, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), is dead.
That leaves Willow as Nina’s only daughter. But she won’t want to hurt Sonny either so look for Nina to give in, at least at first. But Michael may have underestimated Willow’s reaction when and if she discovers what Michael has done.
Willow’s history includes being a part of the Dawn of Day cult from which she escaped. Willow left because Dawn of Day leader Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) controlled every aspect of her life.
Michael’s devious plot will likely remind Willow of Shiloh’s manipulation, taking away her choice to have Nina in her life. Its quite possible Willow will leave Michael just the way she left Dawn of Day!
Is Michael right to keep the truth from Sonny? Will Nina succumb to Michael’s blackmail? And will Willow leave Michael once she learns the truth?
