General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may eventually make a big confession to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Although Jason gave Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) a vague version of events, he didn’t offer the whole truth.
However, Jason trusts Carly more than anyone on the planet – and we all know Carly is going to be relentless when it comes to seeking an explanation for Jason’s time away.

Jason may admit that John Cates (Adam Harrington) roped him into this mercenary mess by threatening him with evidence of RICO violations and who knows what else.
The show has only offered that short Quantico flashback so far, which means there may be even more leverage that hasn’t been revealed just yet.
Regardless, Jason is stuck cooperating with John and could perhaps use some help fighting back.

A fake dating scenario would be fun, especially now that Carly is conveniently single.

Carly was the first person that John encountered when he came back to Port Charles, so the show’s worked to intertwine their characters from the start.
It could be building to a situation where Carly pretends to fall for John to gather intel and set him up in some way.
We know that Adam Harrington did a chemistry read with Laura Wright when he was auditioning for the show, so the idea of Carly fake dating John might fit with that.
