GH Spoilers: Cassadine Family Erased – Wyndemere’s New Owner Is a Troubling Warning Sign?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) offered some updates regarding the sale of Wyndemere and Spoon Island in the February 26 episode, so let’s talk about her latest news.

Ava told Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) about the escrow papers and confirmed that the sale went through, so Nina couldn’t believe she found a buyer.

However, Ava gave credit to Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), who was finally able to find a developer willing to buy the house and the land instead of separating them into distinct lots.

Nina wondered what they were planning to build out there, so Ava suggested they might turn the house into condominiums – or even tear it down since that’d be Ava’s vote!

Regardless, Ava was clearly glad to be rid of the property and now considers it part of an awful past that won’t be revisited.

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was the last person who had an emotional connection to Wyndemere, so Ava acted like nobody needed that place now that he was gone.

Of course, there’s a chance that Spencer could regain control of Wyndemere once he returns. Spencer isn’t really deceased, so he might fight for his old home once he comes back to Port Charles.

In the meantime, fans are speaking out on social media with concerns about Cassadine erasure and all this developer talk.

For a while, it seemed like the show was building to some big reveal of who bought Wyndemere and Spoon Island.

Now it almost seems like they’re offering a vague developer explanation just to put the topic aside and shove the Wyndemere set into storage.

Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is in prison, so that’s been another issue for a lot of viewers lately.

The Cassadines were once a powerful, prominent GH family, but now they’ve fizzled out in a big way.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is still around, but he feels disconnected from his Cassadine roots.

Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) is a Cassadine as well, but he’s too little to really count at this point.

With Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and so many other Cassadines deceased, fans have started to worry about the family’s future.
