GH Spoilers: Week of January 1 Update – Michael’s Confession, Drew Fights Back, Bad News Spreads and Ava’s Visitor
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of January 1-5 reveals that there’ll be a sports-related preemption to start things off on Monday, January 1. After that, GH fans will be treated to four exciting all-new episodes that are packed full of drama.
At The Savoy, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) will beg Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to believe the SEC snitch isn’t Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
When Sonny responds with skepticism, Lois will urge him to ask Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for the truth.
Michael will ultimately confess to Sonny, who’ll seethe over his son hiding something so huge and blackmailing Nina in the process.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will rant at Lois for setting this big reveal in motion, but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will have something else on her mind after a tough phone call about Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) passing.
Carly will break down in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) arms before he meets up with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) for a co-parenting discussion.
The topic of Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) future will lead to hostility between Sam and Drew, so it sounds like he’ll object to her tossing out his new school idea.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will end up facing a dilemma, so we’ll see if that’s related to Sam’s crisis or perhaps some drama at work.
As the news about Bobbie’s demise spreads, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will console Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) while Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) takes a trip down memory lane with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Other GH spoilers say Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will suspect something’s up with Michael.
There’ll be a situation that leaves Willow thinking Michael has ulterior motives, so she may push him to come clean.
Will Michael spill what Nina did or delay that revelation even longer?
Regardless, Carly will be busy mourning the loss of Bobbie, so she may be kept in the dark on Nina’s actions for the time being.
After Nina confides in Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), she’ll get some advice to trust in the power of love.
Sasha will hold out hope that Nina can fix her mess and still have a relationship with Sonny as well as Willow.
Meanwhile, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will start connecting the dots, so she may realize Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) have cooked up a plot to dupe her.
That could put Tracy in the position to turn the tables!
As for Ava Jerome (Maura West), she’ll get an unexpected visitor.
That could be Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) if she decides to play with fire – or maybe Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will show up to spill her Paris plans.
At the church, Sonny will have a run-in with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), who may essentially gloat about knowing the truth about Nina before her own husband.
Whatever the case, Cyrus and Sonny will have quite a showdown, so it won’t be surprising if Sonny ultimately lets his fists do the talking.
Across town, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (temporarily played by Courtney Fulk) will stumble across an extremely drunk Adam Wright (Joshua Benard), so they’ll have to sober him up and take care of him.
Over with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she’ll be blown away by the sweet surprise Curtis has cooked up for her.
It’ll be Curtis’ way of thanking Portia for everything she’s done for him.
Elsewhere, a stunning realization is on the way for Laura Collins (Genie Francis) – one that involves Esme.
That could mean Laura will realize Esme went to see deranged Heather Webber (Alley Mills), but it’s also possible Laura will spot Esme’s glove and realize it’s a match for the one found at Wyndemere.
There’s even a chance Laura will catch Esme in a lie and determine that her memories must be back, but she may have no way of proving it.
