Some fans have a feeling that he’s still alive. He could return to Port Charles. For weeks, there have been rumors about Luke’s possible appearance.
The General Hospital spoilers played with this theory once again. There was a new scene that teased his potential comeback.
The user Daytripper2772 posted on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “I think there was a reason that we saw Luke’s picture on Tracy’s phone today.
The fact that she was crying and said, ‘Damn you, Luke Spencer, I miss you.’ I think there will be a reveal that Luke is alive.”
Some fans have a feeling that Luke could make a surprise appearance in Port Charles. He could do a cameo for Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) memorial.
This would allow him to finally say goodbye to his sister “Barbara Jean.” But, he won’t do it in full view of everyone.
Luke will just hide in the shadows. Anthony Geary has expressed no desire to return to the ABC daytime soap. He might only agree to film from a remote location.

GH Spoilers – Anthony Geary Returns For Special Reason
Anthony Geary would only agree to return in dire circumstances. He would honor the three characters — Bobbie, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis), and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). The General Hospital fanbase would love to see him back, even if it’s just a brief moment in time.
One user responded: “I thought the scenes were odd too. I said all along Luke Spencer would not go down by Cassadine so I would love to see something like this.”
Another user argued: “I didn’t get that vibe today.”

This allows Geary to change his mind and make a return. However, Geary is living in Amsterdam full-time, which means he won’t be returning to the United States anytime soon.
