General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) could be gearing up for a romantic proposal. Although Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) seemed to sense what was coming and ushered Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) toward the door, that didn’t stop her grandmother from bringing up the topic of marriage.
Gloria suggested that she wanted to plan her next trip back to Port Charles, so she wondered when Chase and Brook Lynn were getting hitched.
This isn’t the first time someone’s been curious about that topic since Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) also seems eager for Chase to make things official with the woman he loves.
Of course, in Gregory’s case, it’s for a sad reason since he wants to make certain Chase is settled in a happy relationship before he fades away.
Gregory knows he can’t stop his decline and the grim fate that’s coming, so he’s been thinking a lot about his sons and trying to ensure they’ll be fine without him.
Plus, it’d be nice if Gregory were still around to actually witness Chase and Brook Lynn tying the knot.
It’d mean a lot to Gregory if he could still be walking and talking for the ceremony, so that could serve as motivation for Chase to pop the question sooner rather than later.
After facing more pressure from her family, GH spoilers say Brook Lynn will deal with some doubts during the week of December 4-8.
There’ll be a situation that leads to some skepticism for Brook Lynn, so she may have concerns if Chase gets down on one knee and proposes.
Brook Lynn might doubt that Chase’s marriage proposal is sincere and fear he’s only doing this because everyone seems to think he should.
However, Chase might argue that it feels right and suggest there’s really no need to wait when he’s certain he wants Brook Lynn for keeps.
That may be enough to get Brook Lynn to surrender since she’ll be making a big announcement with Chase a little later.
Even so, some doubts could linger in the back of Brook Lynn’s mind as we build toward a speedy marriage ceremony.
All of this seems to be happening too fast, so that could set the stage for a disastrous wedding day! Will Brook Lynn become a runaway bride as the ceremony draws near?
Brook Lynn could be a flight risk under the circumstances, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens when it’s time for their nuptials.
Chase might find himself on a mission to track Brook Lynn down and convince her that he truly wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
