It’s been a minute since Ava went missing, but so far, only Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) know anything about it.
When Avery Corinthos’ (Grace Scarola) nanny showed up at Joss’ dorm room door, concerned for Ava’s welfare after she didn’t show up to get Avery, Dex and Joss knew something was wrong.
Spinelli is the perfect person to help them narrow down the person who took Ava against her will, but will tracing things back to Mason help save Ava — or hurt her?
GH Spoilers – Claim Mason Gatlin Has A Heart
We’ve seen Mason’s shameless flirting. We figured he was just a creep who has a thing for Ava, but it’s possible his fixation with her could leave him with a weak spot when Cyrus is done with holding her hostage.
Cyrus might want Ava wiped off the face of the Earth, but that doesn’t mean Mason does. He’s got other plans in mind anyway. It’s clear that while he might like Ava, he does what he’s told when he’s being paid well.
When Cyrus is finished with Ava, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) won’t be. It would make sense that Mason is going to offer Ava up to him, but does that mean Ava is going to live out her days as Nik’s inconvenient hostage, or will Nikolas also order her death?
General Hospital Spoilers — Tricks Up Her Sleeve
We can expect that when Mason delivers Ava to her ex-husband, likely across the pond, Aca is going to be stunned to see her husband alive.
All this time, she thought she killed him — and not only did Mason let her believe that, but Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) did, too. Ava may come to realize Austin was never on her side, even though he did actually care about her.
It could lead her to have a real emotional crisis on her hands, wondering if anyone really loves her.
Will Ava make a play for Nikolas’ emotions to save herself? And if so, will her sudden demonstration of love for him be at all authentic or just for show?
