HUG IT OUT! Fans Bash Kody Brown As He Begs Ex Janelle For A ‘Hug’ In Awkward Scene Just Weeks After Nasty Fight!

SISTER Wives fans have been creeped out by a strange request Kody Brown asked ex-wife Janelle. On Sunday’s episode of the TLC show, the polygamist tried to brush past a major fight he had with one of his former partners.

After an explosive fight near Christmas, Janelle made no secret that she was not looking forward to seeing Kody, 54, again. But she agreed to meet with him for lunch to “talk it out.” Janelle, 54, was already sitting, rubbing her arms and looking uncomfortable, when Kody entered, and tried to break the tension with a joke, and strange request.

“Hi. How’s it going?” he asked, before adding: “Long time no see.”

Janelle could only stifle a forced laugh. Kody then followed with a forward request.

“You going to give me a hug?”

Janelle reluctantly stood to embrace her ex, while fans on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, slammed him for making such a personal advance.

Another echoed: “Kody… read the room. No, she doesn’t want to give you a hug,” one person said.

As a second chimed in: “Kody is that guy in high school who says ‘where’s my hug?'”

“Not Kody wanting a hug after being the bulls**t he pulled and not coming around for six weeks,” a viewer raged.

One person added: “‘Where’s my hug? Long time no see?!’ This absolute garbage man.”

FIGHT NIGHT

Janelle and Kody got into a wild fight in an earlier episode that ended with her telling producers to shut off the cameras. Janelle cursed Kody out multiple times and grabbed him as he began exiting the room. The scene saw the exes seated on a sofa in Arizona at wit’s end.

“I feel like I’m being gaslit,” Janelle began – before being instantly cut off by Kody.

“You’re using that because I used the term,” he shot back.

Janelle scoffed and replied: “Oh, I came into this conversation expecting to use that term.

“‘Cause I feel like you are constantly gaslighting me.”

Kody paused before acknowledging there’s a “problem” in the family and “everybody thinks I’m the bad guy.”

“I don’t expect to see anybody at Christmastime. I don’t expect to see you.”

BIG BASH

Kody and Janelle are parents to Logan, 29; Hunter, 26; Gabriel, 21; Garrison, 18; and daughters, Madison, 27, and Savanah, 18 -all with whom he has now strained relations. Kody then went on to accuse that Janelle doesn’t “follow the rules and doesn’t take accountability.” At that point, Janelle blew up and pointed a finger, saying: “Shut your f**king mouth and let me talk to you for a minute.”

“No, no, no, no,” Kody exclaimed, seemingly unable to handle the confrontation- he got up from the sofa and began leaving.

“You keep cutting me off,” Janelle continued.

Kody then threw on his jacket and implied all of their problems were Janelle’s doing: “There is only a bitterness. What partnership do we have?”

“Don’t you dare point your finger at me,” Janelle replied, standing her ground.

As Kody began to leave the room, she grabbed his jacket: “You stay and talk.”

“I’m done listening to you,” he replied, exiting.

“No, I’m not going to, because you’re not listening,” he taunted getting in her face.

“You’re not listening to me,” Janelle said.

“And I’m not going to. Goodbye.”

“F**k you,” Janelle concluded.

Kody slammed the door, and Janelle told the producers: “Shut it off.”
