Sister Wives: Tony Padron Has a Go at Christine Brown

Sister Wives has Tony Padron prying the truth out of Christine Brown, his mother-in-law, on the next new episode of the TLC series this coming Sunday.

Tony Padron didn’t do much in the way of first impressions when he originally showed up on the screen. He was the future son-in-law of Christine Brown and Kody Brown at the time.

Sister Wives fans were introduced to Tony as he planned his wedding to Kody and Christine’s daughter, Mykelti Brown Padron. His lackadaisical approach to things made him look nothing like a go-getter.

Plus he kept piling on the wedding expenses, despite Kody footing the bill. So, to say Tony wasn’t a fan favorite on Sister Wives at first is likely an understatement.

Things Changed for Tony

Several years have passed since Tony became Christine Brown’s son-in-law. With each rare appearance on the TLC series, fans got to like him a little more.

His uncanny ability to unhinge Kody Brown made him especially entertaining for viewers. Since the Sister Wives patriarch’s behaviors got on the nerves of the viewers, it was nice for a change to see Tony Padron rattle his father-in-law.

Now that he and Mykelti have become parents of three kids, all under the age of four, he’s really stepped up to the plate. From all reports, he’s a great dad, and he dotes on his wife as if the sun sets and rises on Mykelti.

As the season rolls along, Christine lives in Utah, not too far from where Mykelti and Tony live. So, she spends a lot more time with her daughter’s family. This week on the Sister Wives episode it looks like Tony Padron shines once again when he asks Christine Brown a really hard question.

Sister Wives: Christine Prompted to Share the Truth

Christine Brown hires a matchmaker in this upcoming episode. So, she shares this with Mykelti, Tony, Aspyn Brown Thompson, and her husband Mitch Thompson. Then she tries to describe the type of man that she hopes to find.

So, on the next Sister Wives episode, Christine comes up with, “I’m just looking for something that Kody never was.” This includes Christine wanting someone who’s a partner, along with being a good communicator. But he also has to be funny. She adds, “I’d love a sense of humor.”

Then they move on to the subject of polygamy and whether Christine is looking for another polygamous relationship. That is a solid no from this celebrity mom. She wants a monogamous relationship.

Tony Pops the Question…

As the conversation progresses, Tony Padron asks his famous Sister Wives mother-in-law a question. He asks Christine, “Have you concluded that (polygamy) doesn’t work?” Well, it looks like Christine can’t give a cut-and-dry answer on that.

This fan-favorite Sister Wives mom replies that it doesn’t work for her anymore. But it once did. She can’t say that she regrets her polygamous marriage because that’s a path that led her to where she is today.

Sitting around her are two of her grown daughters and their pretty cool husbands. So, she says, “All of you guys are because of polygamy, so I don’t regret it at all.”

There you have it, while Christine Brown is looking for a monogamous relationship today, she doesn’t regret her decades of plural marriage. Tune in Sunday night for an all-new episode of Sister Wives Season 18 on TLC at 10 p.m.
