Sister Wives husband Kody Brown is having a hard time accepting that his whole world is changing and seems to blame everyone around him. He is unhappy about everything.
Kody refuses to see things for how they are. He feels everyone is messing with his head and making him the villain. Instead, he feels he is the victim and that everyone is unfairly mistreating him.

Sister Wives star Kody Brown is so used to having everything in his plural marriages go exactly his way. But, now that everything is beginning to fall apart around him, he is having difficulty facing reality.
In his mind, he is an innocent husband and father who goes above and beyond to provide for and keep his family happy. However, some of his family members see things differently these days.
In the past, Kody had no problems handling his relationships with his family members. He would talk in circles around them until they agreed and believed what he was saying and doing was for the best of everyone involved.
But now things have changed. Christine has been standing on her own since the split. She refuses to allow him to manipulate her any longer.
His children are also coming to an age where they can see that everything their dad says and does seems to be two different things.
Sister Wives: Kody Feels Victimized
Sister Wives patriarch Kody Brown feels his wives, mostly Christine and Janelle Brown, are talking him down to their children. He feels they are beginning to question his knowledge and authority and finds it disrespectful.
During the October 23 episode, Kody’s frustration begins to show. He is trying to help Janelle set up the trailer at Coyote Pass. However, Janelle is losing patience with him.
She feels he is rushing through things to pacify her. But she is uncomfortable with her husband’s thoughts and how he is talking down to her and their son Gabe.
The father and son have words. They can’t agree on leveling out the trailer. Gabe is stepping in to help his mom get set up. However, the Sister Wives star tries to push his son out of the way and take over. The tension is building.
During Gabe’s confessional, he says that he and his dad have not really been talking much. He disagrees with his dad’s way of thinking and feels he is not putting effort into maintaining a father-and-son relationship with him.
TLC Star Accuses Family of Gaslighting Him
The Sister Wives dad feels that Gabe and many family members have been gaslighting him. He says they all knew the family rules and regulations, but now they do not trust and agree with how he wants to handle family situations.
As a result, he is getting overwhelmed with everyone and everything. Since he feels everyone is trying to gaslight him, his guard is up. He is beginning to wonder who is with him and against him.
He is unwilling to lose control of his Sister Wives family. However, he is starting to have a lot of mixed emotions about his plural marriages.
