Sister Wives: Why Robyn Will Eventually Leave Kody?

Sister Wives fans believe Robyn might follow in the footsteps of the other wives and leave Kody. Over the last few months, viewers watched as Kody Brown’s relationship with his other three wives broke down. The first shock came when his third wife, Christine Brown, announced their split in November 2021.

Sister Wives: Why Robyn Will Eventually Leave Kody

The split came after his separations from his first wife, Meri Brown, and second wife, Janelle Brown, which fans witnessed during the three-part Sister Wives: One on-One special. The divorces inadvertently ended Kody’s polygamous family dream and left him in a monogamous marriage with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown.

Surprisingly, the curly-haired patriarch seems to be settling well into his new family dynamics with Robyn. During the final episode of Sister Wives: One on-One, Robyn revealed that Kody is not keen on bringing more wives to the family. The decision is quite understandable, considering what he has endured over the last few months, but Robyn does not seem to agree.

Robyn admitted she loves the polygamous setting of a family and still saw it in her future. Although she claimed the idea is a little risky, considering how badly it ended for the family, she still saw herself asking Kody to try it again. Meanwhile, fans have always criticized Kody’s relationship with Robyn. Many blame her for the demise of his other marriages, and her recent claims have given them more reasons to believe she and Kody will not last.

Robyn Wants A Polygamous Marriage

Robyn first tied the knot with Kody in 2010, which they described as a spiritual ceremony as the two could not legally get married. However, the two legally tied the knot in 2014 after Kody divorced his first wife, Meri, to allow him to adopt Robyn’s children from her previous marriage.

Robyn was previously in a monogamous marriage to David Jessop, but that did not end well, and she has admitted that one of the things that drew her to Kody was his polygamous family. She loved the idea of being part of it, so her decision to become the fourth wife in the family was not difficult.

However, the recent divorces have thrown her plans out the window, and Robyn has revealed she cannot function in a monogamous marriage anymore. In a nutshell, she would have no problem with Kody bringing in more wives to continue the polygamous lifestyle.

Interestingly, Kody doesn’t seem to share Robyn’s sentiments, and it seems the two are heading in different directions at the moment. As expected, fans have already started to speculate on the couple’s marriage, with many predicting it would end soon. Most Sister Wives fans see Robyn walking out of the marriage if Kody insists on monogamy.

Finances and Ego Might Force Robyn Out

While discussing the situation between Kody and Robyn on Reddit, many fans agreed that the exit of three of the wives from the marriage has made the show lose much of its appeal and could see its end. The series cancelation would translate to a significant loss of finance for the family and difficulty in supporting the kind of lifestyle Robyn would like to live. Most fans feel one of the biggest draws for Robyn to the marriage was money.

One fan said:

“I think Robyn is going to leave him when the show ends. No way they can keep up her desired lifestyle with no TLC money coming in and they will have to sell the land at a loss I bet. But I hope Janelle builds on her plot of land.”

Other fans suggested Robyn has always been fascinated with the idea of being the other woman. Fans claimed Robyn felt fulfilled as fans tagged her as Kody’s “favorite wife,” and she loved the competition with the other wives.. With that taken away from her, there is no motivation to remain in her marriage to Kody. Kody may have to rethink his stance on not taking another wife. Currently, a lot is riding on that decision, and the signs are seemingly already ominously written on the wall.
