Meri Brown Was In An Abusive Relationship?
Season 17 of the show arrived with a scary trailer that showed Kody yelling and raging in a tantrum. Later, as the season played out, there were several instances where he yelled and threw his arms in the air. One particular scene showed Meri sitting in her chair, letting it wash over her. Actually, it was almost as if she just sat quietly, hoping it would pass her by. Many people started to wonder if Kody had ever been physically abusive with her.
The trailer for Season 18 showed that Meri Brown finally got the message that Kody Brown was serious about wanting her gone from his life. In his confessional, he said that he wasn’t even sure “what to do with Meri.” For years, she’s hung on despite being humiliated by her man in a loveless marriage. Even then, when he made her leave, she told Robyn that it wasn’t her choice. Some fans were angry because she didn’t empower women, but did she actually seek some help this time?
Meri Brown Sought Help From An Abuse Healing Coach?
The Daily Mail reported that on TikTok, Kody’s former first wife follows someone named “Alex Scot, a self-described trauma healing coach.” Of course, that doesn’t mean that the TLC star actually sought her services or paid to see her. But as it does mean that she can see her posts Sister Wives fans hope that she gets help from her. Alex posts videos that “are aimed at helping people to heal from trauma that they suffered at the hands of a narcissistic abuser.”
Meri Brown possibly getting help for abuse was quickly taken up in a discussion on Reddit. Most people hope that the Sister Wives star really sought help because it seems obvious to fans that Kody could be narcissistic and abusive. Actually, they’ve been calling it for years. In fact, few fans could understand why Meri bothered going back to him after the catfish incident.
