General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) grew concerned when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) got in touch with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about a sleepover on short notice.
Carly came to pick Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) up in a hurry and immediately seemed suspicious of his meeting with Ava.
That left Ava on edge, but Sonny assured her that he wouldn’t tell Carly what she did to Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) unless he had to.
That could mean there’ll indeed be a situation where Sonny feels backed into a corner and comes clean to Carly about why he’s helping Ava.
The week of July 31-August 4 will bring even more suspicions for Carly, who’ll put Ava through an intense interrogation according to GH spoilers.
Carly could even spy on Ava and Sonny at some point if she decides to take matters into her own hands.
Then again, Carly may just push Sonny for the truth if this is something that could spill over onto their whole family.
It might even be a situation where Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) learns Ava eliminated Nikolas and leaks it to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) because of their arrangement.
Michael could then tell Carly, who would no doubt turn this into leverage.
Carly is never going to truly get along with Ava, so she might use this secret against Avery’s mom.
If Ava dares to step out of line, Carly may be right there waiting with Nikolas info that she can take to the cops.
Ava may worry that Carly’s going to hold this awful Nikolas dilemma over her head indefinitely.
It’d be an easy way for Carly to push for more time with Avery and fight back anytime Ava dares to cross her.
Of course, we can’t forget that Ava knows Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is behind the tip to the SEC, so that’s something else Carly could want to punish her for down the road.
Ava has been sitting on that shocker for quite some time as Nina’s ally, so Carly might make her pay the price.
However, there’s good news for Ava since Nikolas is still alive and on life support somewhere. It’s just a matter of when that stunning truth will come to light.
