MONDAY, MAY 31
‘Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It’ (10PM, VH1)
This reality series isn’t officially scheduled to debut until fall 2010, but, given the resilient rocker’s crop of headline-making activities lately, VH1 decided to drop a sneak peek in now. Far from his ‘Rock of Love’ days, ‘Life As I Know It’ focuses on Michaels’ home life with daughters Raine and Jorja and on-again/off-again girlfriend (and babymama) Kristi in their Scottsdale, Arizona home. We’ll also get a glimpse at his hectic career life, which, as we all know, was interrupted recently by a string of serious health woes. We’re guessing the show will also feature his many comebacks — winning ‘Celebrity Apprentice 3,’ surprising viewers by popping up on the ‘American Idol’ season finale and surprising everyone by continuing his tour last week — though we can’t be the only ones who’d feel better if he’d just take a little vacay, right?

The Cooking Channel - Another whole network for foodies? Yep. The Food Network’s new sister channel offers a ton of new programming that will also make you want to cook, but maybe never actually do it (7AM, Cooking Channel) network premiere

Clint Eastwood Birthday Marathon - Dude is 80! Dear Clint, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, You look like a monkey … hey, maybe the one that co-starred with you! To celebrate, TCM unspools nine Eastwood flicks (including ‘Dirty Harry,’ ‘Kelly’s Heroes’ and ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” but not, sadly ‘Every Which Way But Loose’), plus the documentary ‘The Eastwood Factor’ (8AM, TCM)

‘America: The Story of Us’ - We’re assuming that when this fantastic miniseries hits DVD in September, it will become a must-have for high school history classes. Tonight’s series wrap up takes us through the space race, the Cold War, the Challenger tragedy and 9/11 (9PM, History) series finale

‘Cake Boss’ - Buddy bakes a cake for the new Joisey governor, and for his wife’s birthday, but is surprised when his mom makes an announcement about her involvement at Carlos Bakery (9PM, TLC) season 3 premiere

‘Hoarders’ - In a new ep, a woman’s hubby moves out when he’s unable to continue dealing with her piles of junk and 60 (60!) birds, while the 10PM episode gives the ‘where are they now’ treatment to a few season one hoarders (9 and 10PM, A&E)

‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ - No, not a new season yet. But the show’s first five hilarious seasons begin airing on Comedy Central (in a two-hour block, every Monday night), and any chance to see ‘The Nightman Cometh’ again is one not to be missed. Remember people: You’re a master of karate and friendship for everyone! (9PM, Comedy Central)

‘Tough Love: Couples’ - Believe it or not, some of these people are gettin’ hitched (9PM, VH1) season 1 finale

‘Dad Camp’ - Like the title says, unprepared daddies-to-be are sent to baby boot camp (10PM, VH1) series premiere

‘True Beauty’ - Former ‘Queer Eye’ guy Carson Kressley, Vanessa Minnillo and Beth Ostrosky Stern are the judges in this season, as contestants who think they’re competing in physical beauty pageants find out where they rate on the tool scale (10PM, ABC) season 2 premiere
