‘The Client List’ (9PM, Lifetime)
Ripped from today’s headlines! Nope, it’s not an episode of ‘Law & Order,’ but a fact-based movie in which Jennifer Love Hewitt puts ghost whispering and vajayjay bedazzling behind her to star as a former homecoming queen who becomes a hooker to support her family. When Sam (Hewitt), a physical therapist, and her husband Rex both lose their jobs at the same time, their financial world spins quickly out of control, and they may lose the house they and their children call home. Sam steps in and takes a job at a massage parlor, and when that leads to an opportunity to make more money by providing more than massages to her clientele, she takes it. All’s well at first, as she earns piles of cash and saves her house and plies her hubby and kids with gifts. But when she’s caught — actually, dragged out of the workplace by cops, with news cameras broadcasting the whole ordeal — she may lose her family, and, unless she blows the whistle on her powerful client list, she may lose her freedom, too.
