(S06E25) In a season that’s been largely inconsistent, sometimes those inconsistencies can pop up in a single episode. Now, a person can think of those inconsistencies as “character depth.” Heck, I sometimes think that way. But, sometimes, inconsistencies are just that. And they can be irritating.
Take the case of Michael in this episode. There were times that he was the childish Michael of old, caring for no one but himself, proud of the fact that he has the “big balls” to date a married woman. Then there’s the Michael that acts as mortified and embarrassed as, well… anyone else in the office does when they’re around Michael. Then there’s the Michael we got at the end of this episode.
