Willem Dafoe, Sam Neill and Frances O’Connor will star in the Australian psychological thriller “The Hunter,” according to a report in The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is based on a novel by Down Under writer Julia Leigh and centers on a mercenary — working for a European biotech company — who travels to the Tasmanian wilderness to hunt down the last Tasmanian tiger.
