Lindsay Lohan was supposed to sit down with Matt Lauer of ‘Today’ on Tuesday for an interview, but it got called off. Then came the story that Lohan had failed a urine test, which came up positive for alcohol but was otherwise clean. Thursday on ‘The Talk’ (weekdays, syndicated on CBS) Sharon Osbourne expressed sympathy for Lauer having flown 3,000 miles for an interview that was canceled. But she also had an excuse for Lohan, albeit a convoluted one.
Osbourne joked that she thought Lohan’s “wee wee” was tainted by a feminine hygiene product. “I don’t think she was drinking,” said Osbroune. “I think she was cleaning her … with a feminine wipe. They have alcohol on them.”
Around that time, Osbourne said she had someone in her ear telling her “enough about Lindsay Lohan.” Which is OK, because her co-hosts needed a minute to catch their breath from laughing.
