Robert Chavira and Wendy Williams Joke About ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘DWTS’ (VIDEO)

Wendy Williams (weekdays, syndicated on Fox) has been a fan of ‘Desperate Housewives’ since the beginning, and as the show nears its finale, she invited Ricardo Chavira, who plays Carlos Solis, onto ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’ Chavira told Wendy that he’s also a fan of hers, so much so that he watched her on ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ even though he isn’t really into reality competitions. Fortunately, he was able to bail out quickly, since Wendy only lasted two weeks.

As it usually does, the conversation quickly turned to hair. Wendy told Chavira, “I love your hair on the show, but I love this here, too. What’s all it doing?” Chavira talked about spending the summer in Texas and watching his daughter run around with her wild hair, but then got to the obvious inspiration. “It’s kind of become this homage to one of my favorite, all-time TV show stars, Juan Epstein from ‘Welcome Back, Kotter.’”
