Peter Gallagher and Jane Kaczmarek were once married … on NBC’s ‘Whitney.’
According to TV Guide, Gallagher has booked a guest gig on the new NBC comedy as Vince, Whitney’s estranged father. Whitney’s mother is played by ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ veteran Kaczmarek.
NBC said the character loves his daughter, but often has a habit of popping up at unexpected and inconvenient times.
Gallagher, who currently stars in ‘Covert Affairs,’ spent four years playing dad to Adam Brody on ‘The OC.’ His ‘Whitney’ episode has not been scheduled yet.
