Hold onto your hats Bieberites: It’s been announced that Justin Bieber will make his TV acting debut in the fall in the season premiere of ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.’
It’s an interesting choice of show for the teenage pop sensation given the subject matter of ‘CSI’ and the fact that the show’s audience is generally a lot older than Bieber’s huge fan base. However, he’s following in the footsteps of fellow teen superstar Taylor Swift, whose guest appearance on ‘CSI’ last year was generally well-received.
According to deadline.com, CBS announced that Bieber will play “Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother — a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs.” The storyline even provides the tantalizing possibility that Bieber will appear in more than one episode: “It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season.”
