It turns out Special Agent Timothy McGee’s grandma is one funny woman — Lily Tomlin is set to guest star on ‘NCIS’ to play the role.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Tomlin will play Penelope in an episode that will air in the early fall.
“We are very excited to have the gifted Lily Tomlin join us to play McGee’s grandmother,” Gary Glasbeg, executive producer of ‘NCIS,’ said. “We know she’ll bring extraordinary heart and pathos and humor to the show, and the cast and crew are thrilled to have her.”
