‘Justified’ Scores Second Season Pickup

Justified - FX/SonyHold on to your cowboy hats, ‘Justified’ fans; it has just been confirmed that FX has renewed the Timothy Olyphant drama for a second season run of 13 episodes.

The critically acclaimed drama has been a consistent ratings performer since its March debut, averaging a respectable 3.4 million viewers per first-run episode. According to an FX press release, ‘Justified’ is basic cable’s number one new show among men 18-49, and boasted the most-watched premiere episode in FX history, with its 4.9 million total viewers smoothly surpassing the 4.8 million record set by ‘The Shield’ in 2002.
