Remember the other night when Jimmy Kimmel spent an entire episode dressed as Jay Leno, doing the monologue as Leno and even bantering with Cleto as Kevin Eubanks? Looks like he’s going to be talking about it tonight on a place you might not expect: The Jay Leno Show.
Yup, Kimmel is going to be doing the “10@10″ segment on Leno’s show tonight. This whole Leno/Conan thing is embarrassing to NBC, of course, but I also think that a part of them is loving it. All of the shows are getting some mileage from the controversy and getting attention they wouldn’t have gotten before.
By the way, the “10@10″ segment. I’m wondering if Leno will take this with him when he goes back to The Tonight Show, the way he took “Headlines” with him when he went to 10PM. He’ll have to change the name, of course. How does “11@11:35″ sound?
