Steve Garrett’s classic catchphrase may be absent from the new ‘Hawaii Five-0′ reboot, but the producers obviously still have a soft spot for the old Danno: They want to sign him up for a cameo role.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Peter Lenkov said that he’s been trying to persuade actor James McArthur to appear on the show. “We’ve been talking to James … but he just doesn’t know because he’s busy with a business he’s launching. But we’d love to have him.”
And according to WENN.com, McArthur’s consdering Lenkov’s offer. He said “It’s got a good cast and good plots. … I’ll do it when the time is right.”
