I may not know much about Christina Hendricks‘ upcoming indie thriller Drive, but any excuse to post a picture of the red-headed stunner is good enough for me! Yes, I’m one of those guys — hypnotized by Hendricks’ va-va-va-voom figure ever since her turn as Saffron in the short-lived, much-loved TV series Firefly.
Let me at least pretend to fill you in on Drive. The movie, based on the James Sallis novel of the same name, sees Ryan Gosling as a Hollywood stunt driver who keeps a secret life going as a getaway driver for L.A.’s criminal underbelly. Carey Mulligan and Albert Brooks co-star. No word yet on what role Hendricks will play in the feature, but I’m going to go out on a limb and assume it’s someone very pretty. Ah, typecasting.
Drive starts shooting later this month according to Variety, and, yes, yes, that’s all very interesting. Now, back to staring at Christina Hendricks, please.
