‘Knocked Up’ and ‘Paper Heart’ actress Charlyne Yi has joined ‘House’ as a series regular.
According to Deadline, Yi will play a new member of Dr. House’s diagnostics team. She joins new addition Odette Annable as a series regular in Season 8.
Yi is known for her film work, but has appeared as a guest star on ‘30 Rock,’ ‘Love Bites’ and ‘Cold Case.’
When ‘House’ returns, expect everybody’s favorite curmudgeonly doctor to be in person after crashing his car through Cuddy’s (Lisa Edelstein) house. Edelstein has left the Fox series and will appear on CBS’s ‘The Good Wife.’
