It was a very uncomfortable week on ‘The Big C’ (Mon., 10PM ET on Showtime), and it had nothing to do with Cathy’s cancer. Sure, it’s always a backdrop to the emotions happening on the show, but there was so much more going on.
And most of it centered around Adam, who is heading down a very nasty path. He’s downright unlikable now, which I guess is a testament to the talent of the writing staff and Gabriel Basso in portraying him.
Granted, he owned up to giving crabs to his parents in what had to be a very difficult situation, though Sean forced his hand on that one. He had to admit to having sex for the first time, and then admit it was in their bed. How many of us would have considered just running away from home as a viable alternative to that admission. And that wasn’t even all of it!
