Billy Bob Thornton Wants ‘Bad Santa’ Sequel

Thanksgiving has passed and it’s official — the Christmas season has begun. If your list of favorite holiday movies includes films like ‘Christmas Vacation’ and ‘A Christmas Story,’ then the news that there may be a ‘Bad Santa’ sequel will fill you with red and green glee. Billy Bob Thornton — who played the reckless and filthy mall Santa in the 2003 movie — is teasing us with the promise of more Willie Stokes.

Thornton’s been on a bit of a Hollywood hiatus, but is working on a “dandy” according to a recent interview with Collider — conducted during a press junket for his new movie ‘Faster.’ “My old writing partner Tom Epperson and I just wrote another script, we haven’t written together in years, 15 maybe. And we’re hoping to get that made in the spring, that’s what we’re working on right now,” the actor/director said. “No title. But it’s a-actually it does have a title, I may as well tell you, maybe it’ll intrigue people. It’s called ‘Jayne Mansfield’s Car,’ and it’s a dandy if I do say so.”
