ABC was moved Thursday night to air an advisory before a rerun of ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ The episode shown had uncanny similarities to the shocking murders that had occurred hours earlier at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md.

The warning read: “Due to today’s news events and the depiction of graphic violence in the following program, viewer discretion is advised.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC also gave its stations the option to run a different episode of ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ WMAR-TV, ABC’s affiliate in Baltimore, ran both the episode and the advisory.
