Sharon Osbourne and Adam Carolla on 'The Talk'Adam Carolla thinks men are getting too soft. That’s why he wrote his book of humorous essays, ‘In Fifty Years We’ll All Be Chicks … And Other Complaints from an Angry Middle-Aged White Guy.’ But there’s one man in particular Carolla thinks needs saving from his softer side, he revealed Thursday on ‘The Talk’ (weekdays, syndicated on CBS). And that’s his ‘Loveline’ co-host, Dr. Drew Pinsky, whom Carolla said was the inspiration for him to write the book.

The inspiration comes from a single incident, when Pinsky showed up ten minutes late for ‘Loveline’ one night because he’d had a flat tire. He had to wait for AAA to come fix it, Pinsky had explained. What shocked Carolla was that Pinsky had gotten the flat in his own garage. “I said, ‘You called AAA to come to your house, to your heated garage and change your tire?’” Carolla remembered incredulously. That, he said, is when he knew it was over.
