ABC will air the first interview with Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ husband, astronaut Capt. Mark Kelly, since the Tucson shootings.
The interview will form a special edition of ‘20/20′ — ‘The Congresswoman and the Astronaut: An American Story of Love and Strength’ — on Tuesday night.
According to ABC News, Sawyer sat down with Kelly over the weekend at the hospital where his wife is being treated after being shot in the brain. He opened up about the “extraordinary progress” she’s making every day, and he even said that he’d be willing to meet with the parents of accused shooter, Jared Loughner.
