The tragedy of Rebecca’s miscarriage of baby Cathy lead to a lot of confusion when Rebecca decided to throw a funeral for her baby on ‘The Big C’ (Mon., 10:30PM ET on Showtime). The big problem came when Sean put it in the paper, without specifying which Cathy had died.
So at the funeral, all of Cathy’s friends showed up and were shocked to find that she was still alive. Particularly devastated was Paul’s old friend, the woman Cathy calls the “rugby slut.” She was Paul’s extramarital fling, though far less sexual, when Cathy was flinging with painter guy.
Cathy was none too happy to see her show up ready to swoop up Paul in his grief. She approached “rugby slut” and told her in no uncertain terms how she felt. She wants Paul to find a woman and be happy, but she is not that woman.
