General Hospital (GH) spoilers state it’s been a hot minute since Liesl Obrecht has been in the land of Port Charles.
Unfortunately, since she broke up with Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and donated her bone marrow to great-niece Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) her appearances on the show have been sporadic. Still, it looks like the actress who portrays her, Kathleen Gati, is doing well and remaining busier than ever!

Kathleen posted a selfie on X, which happens to now be her new profile pic on the social media platform, with the following caption, “Back from Europe after working with an incredible cast and crew on a film that takes place during WWII. Can’t share more details at this time, but really loved the experience. #actorslife #Gratitude”
X user, @hollymm3 commented on the post, asking Gati which accent she used for her new movie role, and Kathleen replied, “#British” with a Britain flag emoji.

While most GH fans agree that Port Charles doesn’t feel the same without Liesl and Kathleen, it’s nice to know she is working on big things.
Still, this isn’t the first time she’s been in a film, appearing in over 30 movies during her acting career, including blockbusters like Transformers: Dark of The Moon and Meet the Fockers.
While Gati is remaining hush-hush over details of this latest project, viewers already know to expect an interesting British accent from Kathleen in the flick, and that it takes place during a hard and dark time in human history.
