General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Accepts Drew’s Help To Get The Metro Court Back — But What About Kelly’s?
General Hospital Spoilers report that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) knew right away when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) offered to sell her half of the Metro Court back to her that something was amiss.
Nina does nothing out of the goodness of her heart. There is always an agenda. As soon as she went to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with her concerns, he seemed to gently agree with her that Nina’s latest move made little sense.
We aren’t sure what that says about the future of Sonny and Nina or the confidence he has in his new bride. But even if Carly decides to entertain Nina’s spontaneous and generous offer, where would she come up with the loot — and what would she do with Kelly’s?
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Becomes a Benefactor
Carly will never be willing to accept her ex-husband’s help to buy back the Metro Court — or anything else for that matter. When she walked away from their marriage, she did so with her head held high that she didn’t need his money to survive.
However, she also did so with a far more lucrative business on her hands. When that evaporated, she was nearly forced to sell her lakeside home she had raised her children in to compensate for the loss of the Metro Court.
Shouldering that kind of financial burden again isn’t just hard — it’s impossible for a woman without the means to buy it. It’s a good thing she has a guy like Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in her corner to help her out.
GH Spoilers Hint Spencer Comes Into Play
Sure, securing the funds from her boyfriend to buy back her half of the Metro Court won’t be comfortable, but it’s still the easiest part of this step in her career.
Figuring out who to entrust Kelly’s to is much more difficult. It has traditionally been kept in the family. Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) does her part to help out waiting tables, but she’s going to college full-time and planning to be a doctor.
She can’t take on that kind of workload. However, rumor has it Carly is going to rent the room upstairs to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) soon, and that may spur Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to take a strong interest in running Kelly’s and staying close to Esme — and Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) side.

When she heads back to the Metro Court, Carly will be overjoyed to be working with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) again, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy for her to stop missing her days at Kelly’s.
They were simpler, and somehow Kelly’s felt more like it belonged to her — probably because her family has run the place for so many years.
She won’t be able to forget that she’s only back at the hotel because of Nina. That means she won’t be able to stop digging for the answer to her question: What are Nina’s motives?
