Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown seems to be making up her own religious rules, and may be more worried about ascending to heaven than her own family.
Robyn Brown from Sister Wives is coming across as an extreme hypocrite, after trying to use her religious beliefs in her fight against Christine Brown. Kody’s newest wife has never been well-liked among fans, mainly because she has come across as a home wrecker. Now, Robyn is trying to fight a righteous war that only she believes in.
It became painfully obvious during the most recent Sister Wives episode that Robyn was fighting an uphill battle, which would only help her and Kody if they won. The new episode showed Robyn trying to claim that Christine was not really divorced in the church’s eyes, noting that since they were spiritually married, the mother of six would have to ask permission from the church. Viewers could hardly contain their sʜᴏᴄᴋ at Robyn’s audacity, and many people felt that Kody’s favorite wife was a complete hypocrite. While Kody used to lead prayer meetings from home, which were shown onscreen, fans can’t remember the last time that any of the Browns attended church, or practiced their religion.
Robyn Brown Makes Up New Rules
It was hard to swallow the pill that Robyn was basing her criticisms on. After all, it’s true that when Meri Brown had to divorce Kody, it didn’t go unnoticed that neither went to church to ask permission. It seemed to fans that when it would help Robyn, she was happy to make up her own rules.
Robyn believes that if she keeps Kody happy on earth, she will ascend to her own planet when she ᴅɪᴇs. In the Mormon religion, men believe that all of their spouses will live with them in space. Robyn has not reacted well to the news that Christine decided to leave Kody, and may be worried that the move has ruined her chances of moving up into the celestial realm. Robyn has been pushing for a church divorce, which indicates that she is worried that Christine will randomly show up, and ruin her ideal afterlife. Even though the idea is farfetched, Robyn’s fear is real.
Robyn’s double standards when it comes to religion are appalling, leaving Sister Wives fans with an even worse opinion of the reality celeb. Robyn is perceived as Kody’s true love, with many viewers feeling like the duo should just admit that, and live monogamously. However, Robyn may be scared that Christine’s departure will lead to TLC canceling the show, which would hurt Robyn financially. For now, it looks like she is content to try to use religion to scare the other wives into doing what she wants, even if she does end up looking two-faced.

Robyn’s older children, Dayton, Breanna, and Aurora, are from her marriage to her first husband, David Jessop. After marrying Kody, he adopted the three children as his own. Then the married couple had two children of their own, Solomon and Ariella.
As seen in Sister Wives Season 17, Ariella just started school for the first time when the season was filmed in August 2021. In 2022, she’s now six years old and in first grade. Solomon is now 11 years old and is now in sixth grade.
As for the older children, Breanna was starting her senior year in high school. In 2022, she will be 18 years old and has graduated. However, it’s unclear whether she’s moved on to college. Aurora is currently 20 years old and was living at home with her parents. The last fans saw of her was in Sister Wives Season 17. Christine and Kody’s daughter, Gwendlyn Brown, recently started her Patreon account, where she answers Sister Wives fans’ burning questions. One fan asked about Dayton since he wasn’t featured on Sister Wives Season 17. Gwendlyn revealed (via Reddit), “Dayton is still here living with Robyn, don’t worry lol.”
Gwendlyn revealed more information about what Dayton has been up to in 2022. She said, “He’s a bit of a hermit just [because] he has so many degrees that he’s studying for which might be why people haven’t seen or heard from him online.”
According to Dayton’s LinkedIn, he’s pursuing a triple major in marketing, information systems management, and management. He also has additional certificates in business analytics and business leadership.
Fans call Kody out for having double standards for Robyn’s kids
Back in Sister Wives Season 16, Kody outraged both fans and his wife, Janelle Brown, when he demanded that his sons move out of their mother’s house. He said they’re “men” and must leave the nest since they won’t abide by his overly strict coronavirus (COVID-19) rules.
In one episode from Sister Wives Season 16, Kody demanded that Janelle kick out their sons during the height of the pandemic. Janelle says she doesn’t want to kick out her sons because they’re using this time to save money and go to college. Kody interrupted her and said, “They’re adults. Bye-bye.”
Many Sister Wives couldn’t believe that Kody would demand his 18-year-old son Gabriel and his 22-year-old son Garrison to move out while he has allowed his other children at Robyn’s house to stay as long as they like. It’s just another indication that Kody has his favorites, something Christine and Janelle, and their children have spoken out about recently.
